The post will give you the opportunity to work within and lead an extremely busy and challenging, focussed, supportive team led environment, where issues and challenges need to be dealt with in a calm and efficient manner, co-ordinating and problem solving on a daily basis makes the post both demanding and interesting., The Non Emergency Patient Care Service (NEPTS) is responsible for providing non-emergency and pre-planned transport, to and from hospitals and treatment centres for patients who have appointments at out-patient clinics, day surgery units, and day centres. The service acts as a vital link between communities and is an important and integral part of the overall package of health care provided by the Ambulance Service in Wales.

We currently have a full time, permanent position as Team Leader in south East NEPTS Control.

The post holder will need to work to specific deadlines, allocate additional or late transport requests quickly and efficiently, whilst demonstrating effective utilisation of available resources.

The role includes updating the scheduled work to include processing on the day amendments and reallocation of patients when required.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply., The successful candidates will ideally have a good geographical knowledge of the South Wales area.

Applicants will be expected to have a good educational standard, and possess good typing and I.T. skills, and ideally be able to demonstrate experience of working in a busy and demanding environment must have a can do attitude.
