We have an opportunity for a Band 7 Neonatal Governance role/risk management lead to join our team on theNeonatal Intensive Care Unit. We are a regional level 3 intensive care unit with 42 cots, providing the mostadvanced and specialist care for premature and critically unwell newborns. We deliver a full range of care fromIntensive and high dependency through to special and transitional care, ensuring that babies and their familiesreceive seamless, compassionate support throughout their journey. The post holder will provide practical guidance in setting up and managing the development anddelivery of the governance agenda within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Providing practicalsupport to staff to improve patient care and patient safety, developing timely and measurable actionplans to meet the required standards. Taking a leading role in the implementation of the neonatal risk management arrangements ensuring incidents are reported and analysed for trends, issues identified and where appropriate, our populated onto the care group/Trust risk registers.We offer a wealth of training and development opportunities.
