NCMP School Screener

You will be required to work within the school nursing service, covering all schools and settings within Southend-On-Sea to deliver the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP). This includes local private schools and children who are electively home educated (EHE).

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated practitioner to join the team to deliver the National Child Measurement Programme across Southend City.

Our 0-19 service delivers high quality public health nursing, that promotes and improves health to children, young people and their families in Southend-On-Sea. You will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills, have the ability to work autonomously and as part of an integrated skill mix team.

Southend-on-Sea City Council is a unitary Local Authority and the 0-19 service is based within the Public Health department. Staff moving from NHS to Local Authority can maintain their NHS pension. You will work alongside school nurses, health visitors and the public health team.

£27,709 to £29,542 a year Pro rata to term time, depending on experience
