Full Job Description
The traineeship will enable you to gain invaluable experience working with our Nature Recovery Team supporting our work on our Nature Reserves and weekly volunteer groups, as well as wildlife monitoring and species identification work. There will also be a training budget to support individual interests. All applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to work hard outdoors in all weathers with the desire to learn new skills and show initiative in supporting the work of GWT. Our Nature Reserves include nationally important habitats from the highest Beech woods in Wales to beautiful wildflower meadows in the Wye Valley. This is an amazing opportunity and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds including recent school leavers or graduates. We are looking for someone who has a real passion for wildlife that is reflected in their life experiences and for this to be their future career. This role is not suitable for candidates who are currently employed in a role in nature conservation. We particularly encourage applications from people who are underrepresented within our sector, including people from minority backgrounds and people with disabilities. We are committed to creating a movement that recognises and truly values individual differences and identities As a Disability Confident employer, we are committed to offering an interview to anyone with a disability that meets all the essential criteria for the post. Please let us know if you require any adjustments to make our recruitment process more accessible.Job Pack
