Full Job Description
Are you ready to lead, shape strategy, and deliver results at scale? We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Field Sales Manager to lead and develop our Sales Force, driving strong performance across the UK & Ireland market on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
In this role, you will take ownership of the strategic planning and execution of our field sales activity, ensuring sales objectives are delivered through effective distribution, impactful in-store execution, and ROI-focused promotional activity.
You will play a key role in translating commercial strategy into field execution, setting clear direction, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring plans are delivered consistently and effectively. With a strong understanding of market trends and customer priorities, you'll help position the business for continued success.
Main Responsibilities:
Skilfully navigate the intricate landscape of reconciling objectives with the bespoke goals negotiated by our Customer Management structure. Forge unbreakable connections between our area objectives and the aspirations of our esteemed clients to elevate our sales success.
You'll collaborate seamlessly with the Field Manager to bridge the gap between our teams and become the conduit through which vital information on activities and plans, negotiated with GDO customers, flows effortlessly.
Work hand-in-hand with the Customer Management structure to receive key insights, ensuring our strategies align whilst providing invaluable support to our accomplished District Managers. Providing the essential information they need for strategic decision-making, you will be the go-to source for crucial data, insights, and resources that will amplify the effectiveness of their teams.
You will ensure the seamless application of policies and principles at every sales point and be the guiding force that transforms concepts into captivating retail experiences. From strategic merchandising to compelling promotions, your influence will capture hearts and drive sales.
Your keen eye for detail and dedication will not only ensure the smooth execution of activities but also enable you to evaluate the performance of our merchandisers. Through meticulous analysis, you'll identify strengths, address areas for improvement, and drive continuous enhancement.
You will lead by example, instilling motivation, and championing competence development, creating a culture where every team member is empowered to reach their full potential.
Your expertise in pipeline management will transform potential into reality, ensuring a steady flow that maximises opportunities and propels us toward consistent growth and achievement.
Leverage technology to strengthen customer relationships, streamline processes, and drive informed decision-making. Your familiarity with CRM will enhance our customer-centric approach and solidify our market presence.
You will have proven sales experience and demonstrate initiative, taking charge, and inspiring a culture where proactive solutions and forward-thinking initiatives are the norm.
Along with strong commercial awareness, you will have impeccable communication and presentation skills.
Given the territory-based nature of this role, a valid driving license is an essential requirement.
