Full Job Description

We are delighted to be supporting a lovely family in Wimbledon in their search for an experienced, warm, and engaging nanny to care for their three-year-old daughter. She is a bright, lively child with a strong personality and a wonderful imagination. She experienced some health challenges in her first two years, primarily gastrointestinal, and continues to have some ongoing needs, including allergies to dairy and soya and occasional disrupted sleep. For this reason, the family is seeking a nanny who is calm, patient, attentive, and confident in supporting a child with individual care requirements.
She is an active and curious child who enjoys imaginative play, including role play such as doctors and nurses, as well as creative activities like arts and crafts. She thrives with one-to-one engagement but can find noisy environments and cold weather unsettling. A nanny who is sensitive to her emotional cues and able to create a balanced mix of energetic play and calm time will be well suited to this role.
The family is seeking a nanny with proven experience caring for children aged three to four, who is confident in planning and delivering age-appropriate, stimulating activities. A current first aid qualification is essential. In terms of personality, the ideal candidate will be fun, energetic, gentle, patient, kind, and chatty, with a warm and nurturing approach.
The role is five days per week, Monday to Friday, from 2pm to 6pm. Responsibilities will include engaging the child in creative and stimulating activities both at home and outdoors, making use of the family's garden and nearby green spaces. The nanny will prepare the child's evening meal in line with her dietary requirements and will be expected to keep the play areas tidy and organised. Occasional outings will include trips to the local playground, visits to local shops and bookshops, feeding ducks at a nearby pond, and arranging playdates with nursery friends.
This is a warm and rewarding role with a welcoming family, and we are keen to introduce candidates who are genuinely passionate about supporting young children and becoming a trusted presence in the child's daily routine.
