We are currently seeking an enthusiastic , self motivated nurse with experience and knowledge of Safeguarding and domestic abuse to work within the Safeguarding Team . The role will involve supporting staff who work with both adults and children within our Acute and Community services ., This role supports the Adult and Childrens Safeguarding Leads.

To work as part of South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust (SWFT) Safeguarding Team to provide advice and support to staff across all of the Trust, ensuring that safeguarding concerns are identified and managed appropriately in accordance with Trust and Multi Agency Safeguarding policies.

To contribute to developing, delivering and reviewing safeguarding training to ensure that staff have the skills and knowledge required to identify and respond appropriately to observations, allegations and disclosures of abuse.

To implement procedures and guidance that effectively supports Trust staff to recognise Domestic Abuse (DA) by empowering them to understand and embed the implications of DA and its effects on families.

To provide advice and support to staff to identify and manage risk in DA.
