Full Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Music Teacher to make a meaningful impact. You will deliver engaging and challenging lessons that foster a love of literature, language, and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Music across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet a range of abilities
Inspire students through creative and stimulating approaches to Music
Develop students' analytical, writing, and communication skills
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
Assess and monitor progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department and wider school
Contribute to extracurricular activities such as reading clubs, writing competitions, or theatre visits
We are seeking a teacher who:
Is passionate about Music and inspiring young people
Holds a degree in Music or a related subject
Has QTS (or an equivalent teaching qualification)
Has experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Is an engaging and enthusiastic classroom practitioner
Builds strong relationships with students and colleagues
Is committed to high standards and ongoing professional development
