We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Singing Teacher (Classical, Music Theatre and Contemporary) for Twyford CE High School to deliver 1:1 and small group instrumental teaching. Initially c. 4-7 hours pw. Successful Candidates will:

  • Have Grade 8 ABRSM or equivalent essential; degree or professional instrumental teaching qualification desirable.
  • Have excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Have strong organisational skills.
  • Be flexible and a real team player.
  • Be keen to develop own professional development either as a lead instrumental tutor.
  • Be available for a minimum of one evening per term.
  • Additional Desirable Qualities:
  • Experience of small group instrumental teaching.
  • Good track record of instrumental exam success.

All are expected to contribute to the musical development of students through preparing them for entry to practical examinations through the ABRSM, Trinity and Rockschool boards as well as GCSE and A-Level performance examinations and encouraging students to take part in ensembles. Tutors also contribute significantly to the wide programme of extra-curricular activities.
