Full Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Multiskilled Shift Engineer to join our Engineering team, based in our factory in Kinmel, North Wales., To establish and maintain safe, compliant and effective engineering operations that continually develop the site's asset base by following the Engineering strategy for proactive work whilst responding to breakdowns.,
- Perform planned and predictive maintenance of equipment and complete ad hoc repairs in a timely manner and by prioritising works in line with site priorities to ensure that efficient production is maintained
- Assessing the need for spares by ensuring that the critical spares and spares list is up to date and stock is at the required levels Escalate any issues in a timely manner to the Engineering manager
- Ensuring a safe environment by conducting all servicing and maintenance activities with minimal risk to employees, products and equipment. Champion safety
- Using route cause analysis on breakdowns to identify actions and drive completion of actions to prevent re-occurrence
- Support the energy reduction and sustainability agenda to reduce environmental impacts across the site by ensuring all actions are completed
- Participate in daily and weekly review sessions to drive the improvement throughout the site.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications - Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer - Qualified or time served in both Mechanical and Electrical engineering disciplines
- Experienced in the use and operation of CMMS
- Reliability Management expertise (such as FMECA, RCM, Tribology, CBM, TPM)
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- NEBOSH with a sound knowledge of behavioural safety at a site level - desirable
- Legionella and HACCP awareness - desirable
- Experience in FMCG - desirable

Salary of £21.78 per hour plus £2.35 shift allowance (£24.13 per hour) - £52,700 per annum - 42 hours per week, 4 on 4 off (Days and Nights 12 hour shifts on rotation)
