ROLE: Multi Skilled Shift Engineer - Electrical Bias
HOURS: 4 on / 4 off (2 days 07:00-19:00, 2 nights 19:00-07:00)
LOCATION: London

We're looking for a Multi Skilled Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) who will deliver essential electrical and mechanical maintenance across a high-profile London estate, ensuring systems remain safe, reliable and fully operational at all times.
Role Responsibilities
· Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of electrical and mechanical building services equipment.
· Diagnose faults using technical manuals, drawings, and diagnostic tools to restore systems efficiently.
· Support critical building systems including power distribution, lighting, motor controls, standby generators, and fire alarm/PA systems.
· Conduct inspections, identify defects or warning indicators, and take corrective action to prevent system failures.
· Work collaboratively within a balanced shift team to provide 24/7 coverage and maintain service continuity across the estate.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements for the role:
· City & Guilds Craft Certificate / ONC or equivalent technical qualification.
· Recognised electrical apprenticeship.
· IEE 18th Edition certification.
· Minimum two years' post-apprenticeship experience in a similar building services environment.
· C&G 2391 (or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
· Strong understanding of building services systems and maintenance practices.
· Ability to pass full intrusive security vetting (mandatory).
