Full Job Description
We are looking for a resourceful and energetic multi skilled operative to join our expanding team. Come and join us at North Manchester General where you will enjoy a role which can showcase your expertise and knowledge in an ever-changing environment.
With one of the most varied roles with the hospital, you be on hand to help support and fix issues across the site, making sure that visitors, workers, and patients all receive the same great experience.
No day will ever be the same with some analysis to resolve technical issues included, you'll be able to use your skills liaising with all types of stakeholders and clinical staff to support the running of a busy hospital.

Each day will bring a new duty and test your knowledge. You will undertake robust estates maintenance and repair works on hospital equipment which will include installation of electrical, mechanical, carpentry, landscaping and constructive service and hardware. You will have the basic skills that the properties are maintained in accordance with the service level agreements and to the appropriate quality and standards expected.
You will use your knowledge and experience to prioritise your workload to affect change within the hospital to build a safe environment for clients, visitors, and staff. The multi skilled demands of the role will include carrying out planned preventative maintenance, and reactive maintenance and repair of mechanical systems as well as being trained on new systems.
You will ensure the safe and responsible use and manual handling of equipment, whilst working in potentially hazardous environments (switch/plant rooms and workshop) and/or environmental conditions (confined spaces, heat, cold, wet, and dirty) observing H&S and Codes of Practice
