Join the engineering team at Chessington World of Adventures and help maintain some of the UK's most exciting rides and attractions.Using your expertise in mechanical maintenance, inspections, fault-finding and repairs, as a Multi-Skilled Engineer you'll work on ride vehicles, braking systems, pneumatic equipment and complex attraction systems in a safety-critical environment.In return, you'll enjoy a competitive salary, a discretionary bonus, Merlin Annual Passes, 40% off LEGO, ongoing development opportunities and so much more.About the RoleAs a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the safety, reliability and performance of Chessington's rides and attractions. Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you'll carry out inspections, planned preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across a wide range of

out daily safety critical inspections upon rides, vehicles and other attractions. Reactive maintenance and repairs, tracked through work order creation and completion. Undertaking of preplanned maintenance, including but not limited to: Strip down and rebuild of attraction vehicles, i.e. trains, cars, boatsStrip down and rebuild of mechanical brake assembliesStrip down and resealing of pneumatic cylindersInspection of mechanical and electrical componentsAdherence to safety practices and quality standards, such as HSG175Diagnostics and preventative/predictive maintenanceMaintain accurate maintenance records, reports and logs in support of ongoing compliance metricsMaintain good workshop standards utilising 5S / LEAN methodologiesAssist with auditing and ordering critical spare components for rides and attractionsShift Patterns3 on, 2 off3 on, 2 off4 on, 1 off4 on, 2 offQualifications & ExperienceAn ONC, NVQ level 3 or BTEC equivalent gained through an Apprenticeship or college
