Multi Skilled Engineer - Electrical Engineer Bias

We're looking for an Electrical Maintenance Operative to support the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services at Barnsley Blood Centre. You'll play a key role in ensuring critical facilities remain safe, compliant and operational while working as part of a professional and supportive team. Role Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance, repairs and minor installations across the site.
• Complete testing, fault-finding and diagnosis activities, ensuring all works are completed safely and efficiently.
• Assist with wiring, calibration and alignment tasks while using appropriate tools and test equipment.
• Follow safe systems of work, including lock-off/tag-off procedures, and maintain compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, support housekeeping standards and actively participate in toolbox talks and site safety initiatives.
  
  18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Proven knowledge of electrical systems, plant and control equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and maintenance procedures.
