Summary

Work with us at Riverford, and join a thriving employee-owned business as a Multi Drop Delivery Driver…

Be part of an inclusive and friendly delivery team

More than just a veg box….Riverford are mad about organic veg. It's at the core of everything we do. We love to grow it, pack it into boxes, and deliver it to around 70,000 homes across the UK every week.

This takes loads of brilliant people - and working here makes you a 'co-owner', since Riverford is employee-owned. Success means much more than just profits; we want this to be a place people enjoy coming to work, and a business our co-owners feel proud of!

We offer a bucket load of benefits….33 days holiday pro rata (including bank holidays), 30% off veg boxes and our online shop, generous company pension scheme, annual profit share (at least 10% of all our profits are split equally between all co-owners).

Delivering even greener veg - We're in the process of swapping diesel vans to electric, with the ambitious goal of being 100% electric vans for low-emission deliveries to our customers!

This role is a permanent contract, 8 hours per week, working every Monday, which is inclusive of Bank Holidays. Start and finish times vary, we usually arrive at the hub between the hours of 4am to 6am and finish when all of the veg boxes have been delivered.

Location: To support a healthy work-life balance, we kindly ask that candidates live within a 30-minute commute of our New Covent Garden Hub: Unit 133/135, New Covent Garden Market, 9 Elms Lane, SW8 5BH

Pay: £16.85 per hour.

What you'll be doing…

As a Delivery Driver at Riverford, you're more than just a pair of hands on the wheel. You're the friendly face of our veg box delivery service, bringing fresh, organic produce from field to doorstep. Each day, you'll deliver 70 or more boxes, treating every one with care and helping us build strong relationships with our community of customers.

We're looking for careful and responsible delivery drivers who know their way around a busy round and take pride in doing things well. It's really beneficial if you have multi-drop delivery experience, but we're more interested in a calm head, a kind manner, and someone happy to muck in when it counts.

You'll be part of a supportive team that cares about good food, good farming, and doing things the right way. It's a role with real purpose, helping deliver the best of the season to people's doors.

What we're looking for

• Full UK driving licence & own transport (to get to the hub)

• 3.5-tonne van & multi-drop experience (70+ drops per day preferred)

• Good knowledge of the local area

• Good communication & customer service skills

At Riverford, we value quality service and our delivery drivers play a key role in our mission. If you're looking for a job where you can make a difference and join a friendly, supportive team, we'd love to hear from you!

Application Process

We'll be reviewing applications throughout the duration of the advert and may choose to bring the closing date forward; therefore, we'd encourage you to apply at your earliest convenience.
