Multi Drop Delivery Driver - Exeter

• We pay for the VAN, FUEL, INSURANCE and UNIFORM
Main Duties & Responsibilities Driver
• Loading and offloading of vehicles and general sortation of consignments
• Accurate checking of items out for delivery on the HHT and reporting of any discrepancies to your line Manager
• Complete vehicle checks and report any problems
• Complete deliveries and collections throughout the day in a timely manner whilst adhering to company standards and health & safety procedures. Expectation of 60-100 per day dependent on route area
• Report any problems to your line manager throughout the day
• End of day - return to depot, unload and labelling of non-deliveries and ensure all deliveries are accounted for on the HHT
• Driver debrief with Manager on duty
• Ensure vehicle is cleaned and refuelled for next day
• Compliance with delivery and collections key performance indicators
Warehouse:
• Load and unload vehicles and general sort
• Load outbound trunk vehicles
• Check items for any damage and record as necessary
• Segregate and load parcels ready for dispatch
• Assist drivers with unloading vehicles
• Heavy lifting required
  
  Previous experience of 60+ multi drop deliveries per day
• Excellent geographical knowledge of the area
• Good time keeping
• Excellent customer service skills
• Confident in dealing with people on the phone and in person
• Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
• Full driving licence
• Valid DBS check must be provided
• Experience with HHTs, Disability Confident
