We're looking for an energetic and curious Medical Science Liaison to join our Rheumatology team at AbbVie. This is a highly visible role where you'll become a trusted scientific partner to leading healthcare professionals, helping to advance patient care through scientific exchange, research collaboration, and education. If you enjoy discussing cutting-edge science, travelling to meet experts across the UK, and working as part of a collaborative, high-performing team, we'd love to hear from you. What you'll be doing
- Building strong, credible relationships with key scientific and clinical experts.
- Leading scientific discussions and delivering engaging educational presentations.
- Supporting clinical research, real-world evidence generation, and publication activities.
- Gathering insights from the field to help shape AbbVie's medical strategy.
- Representing AbbVie at scientific meetings, advisory boards, and national congresses.
- Partnering cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, and Commercial colleagues to improve patient outcomes.
A strong scientific or Medical background - Someone who is naturally curious and enjoys translating complex science into meaningful conversations
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A collaborative team player who enjoys working across functions
- Comfortable with regular travel and engaging with experts in a variety of settings
- Passion for science, patients, and making a meaningful impact This position is field-based therefore you must hold a full UK driving licence.
