Berkshire Healthcarehavean exciting opportunity foranexperiencedBand 5Administrator to join the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Outpatient team basedacross our west localitiesfor 22.5 hours per week.If you thrive on variety this is a role you should consider as you will have to travelbetweensites,you will receive generous mileage allowance tofacilitatethis element of the role.You will be joining a friendly and supportive team, who areproactivein ensuring a high standard of service within MSK Physio across Berkshire. This role givesyouthe opportunity totake apartin developing and shapinghow weeffectivelymanageourserviceand administration teams.The roleis suitable for someone whocancoordinatework effectively and provide support,motivation, andguidance to other team members.You will also need to have excellent communication skills, be able to prioritise and organise a varied workload, and balance team/service needs. This is a rewarding role, working alongside a committed and friendly team, inacontinuously evolving servicewhere you will have daily interaction with patients,administration colleagues and clinical staff.Main duties of the job

  • The postholder willfacilitatethe effective operation of MSK Physiotherapy service by providing organisational,administrativeand secretarial support totheMSK Physiotherapy Senior management team and the admin teams.
  • The post holder will provide leadership and direct line management to Band 3 and 4 Administrators.
  • Working with the senior leadership teamyou'llsupport service improvement as well as implementation and review of administrative related policies and processes.
  • The postholder is expected to act on their own initiative and in collaboration with other Admin Leadsto ensure the effective running of the service and admin teams, prioritising their own workload asrequired.
  • The postholder is expected to liaise effectively and professionally with all levels of staff, externalorganisationsand the public, dealing with confidential information inan appropriate manner., The must haves for you to be considered for this role

    1. Minimum of 4 years experience in an NHS administrative role
  • 1. Demonstrable experience of coordinating administrative processes within a busy office and/or care environment 1. Experience of supervision of staff including absenceand performancemanagement 1. Excellent organisational skills with ability toproactivelyplan and prioritiseownand othersworkload,
  • Degree or equivalent qualification or demonstrable level of knowledge in a relevant discipline, Business or Administrative qualification (NVQ 4 in Business & Administration or equivalent) or equivalent relevant knowledge., Minimum of 4 years' experience in an NHS administrative role
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of using a variety of IT packages (such as MS Office) and other electronic systems (RiO, ESR, ERS, etc.)
  • Demonstrable experience of coordinating administrative processes within a busy office and/or care environment.
  • Experience of supervision of staff including absence management.
  • Experience of managing data for performance and reporting purposes, Work effectively within a team and manage others' workload
