Full Job Description

We are looking for a band 6 physiotherapist to join our musculoskeletal outpatients team at our Lincoln and Louth sites. You will get the opportunity to assess and treat a wide variety of MSK conditions including consultant and GP referrals. Within this role you will autonomously manage a complex clinical case load and be responsible for supporting the learning and development of junior staff, assistants and students within the team., To provide a high standard of Physiotherapy in the Musculoskeletal Outpatient service. To deliver classes and 1:1 care as clinically indicated.

To perform more advanced and detailed assessments with patients presenting with more diverse and complex conditions, providing a diagnosis and develop and deliver an individualised specialist treatment programme.

To hold own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of the service, working without direct supervision.

Be responsible for supervision of junior staff contributing to in service training and induction programmes.

You will contribute to daily triage, ensuring patients get the care they need and be able to identify needs for onward referral and requirement for external services.

Our team's are always striving to improve services for our patients, in this role you will be encouraged to participate and lead on service development and quality improvement projects or audit.

Pilgrim Hospital is situated in beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.

Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.
