Full Job Description
This is a unique opportunity to support the MSc Orthoptics (pre-reg) programme alongside UCL Institute of Ophthalmology suite of ophthalmic sub-specialty taught programmes. The module lead will play a key role in the development, management and delivery of the programme in conjunction with the Deputy and Programme Director.
The module lead will be responsible for Orthoptic module III which introduces learners to diagnosis and management of incomitant strabismus and it's management., + Ensure the effective and efficient delivery, assessment and on-going development of the module, in compliance with UCL procedures and regulations
+ Have excellent communication and time management skills to ensure subject matter experts delivering module content are scheduled and supported accordingly
+ Be familiar with UCL and the Institute's guidelines, particularly those pertaining to staff and student welfare
+ Bring to the attention of the programme leads any concerns relating to the students' academic work or general welfare.

The MSc Orthoptics programme has been developed by University College London (UCL), Institute of Ophthalmology (IoO) and Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in a joint education partnership. The post holder will hold an honorary contract with UCL IoO and be employed by Moorfields Orthoptic Service.
