Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 radiographer to join the existing MRI Team.
Staff must be happy to work on the CRH and HRI sites and Huddersfield CDC.
Extended working days and weekend working will form part of the role and applicants should be happy to take part in doing this.
Main duties of the job
We currently have five MRI scanners for the Trust, two new Phillips scanners on the CRH site, and on the Huddersfield site a new Philips 1.5 and a 3T being installed this year. The Trust has a CDC in Huddersfield with another new Philips 1.5
We provide both an out-patient and in-patient service including a very wide range of examinations such as cardiac, vascular, obstetric and paediatric via GA and distraction. You will be working in a busy environment, on a flexible hours rota, across both sites.
You will be required to work both within the team and autonomously. You should have excellent communication skills and be committed to providing a high standard of care.
