MPM2103 Personal Assistant

The purpose of the job is to assist me to expand my experiences and confidence. I want to develop my confidence and life skills and will need support doing this.

Helping me develop various essential life skills; interpersonal skills, money management, confidence, going into a shop on my own and completing a purchase
Learning to travel on public transport
Being a mentor to me, being reliable and taking an active interest in spending time with me

TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED

An outgoing, energetic and bubbly person is important
Someone I can have fun with
Experience working with children with additional needs
Be flexible with your time being able to accommodate the shifts of my preference
Understand the importance of confidentiality
Someone who shares some of my interests and can easily talk about them
A car owner/driver who is willing to use car for work purposes/take me on outings

This position is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS Disclosure (Police Check), which must be completed prior to the commencement of employment. The cost of this check will be covered by the Local Authority.

All necessary checks will be conducted to verify that any candidate has the legal right to work in the UK before employment begins.

Although this is a part-time role, it is a legitimate position requiring the submission of a National Insurance number. Employment will commence under an initial trial period.

Wages will be paid on a monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay will be provided.
