Motor Vehicle Technician Apprentice

As a Motor Vehicle Technician Apprentice, you will:

• Support lecturers and students during practical workshop sessions
• Assist learners in developing hands-on automotive skills
• Help prepare and maintain tools, equipment and workshop areas
• Ensure workshops remain clean, organised and safe at all times
• Assist with stock control, inventories and equipment checks
• Support students during practical assessments and activities
• Develop knowledge and skills in coaching, training and learner support
• Learn how to deliver practical demonstrations and underpinning knowledge sessions
• Assist with maintaining health and safety standards, including COSHH requirements
• Work closely with staff to support an engaging and positive learning environment

Working alongside experienced lecturers and technicians, you will support learners in practical workshop environments, help maintain industry-standard facilities and develop the skills needed to become an effective trainer and mentor.,
