As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced technicians and learn the skills needed to inspect, service, maintain, and repair a wide range of vehicles., Established in 2004 and based in Halifax, we're your local friendly garage, with a hard-earned reputation for providing a first-class service, right on your doorstep. Family-orientated, we have a team of fully-qualified technicians, all highly qualified who will assess and complete any repairs required as smoothly and cost-efficiently as possible. With years of experience working on a wide range of makes and models, we're ideally placed to work with any vehicle you bring to us - including full electric, hybrids and light commercials even whilst under manufacturer's warranty.Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
- Carry out basic mechanical tasks under supervision
- Learn to diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Keep accurate records of work completed
- Attend college or training sessions as part of the apprenticeship programme
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Motor Vehicle Apprentice to join our workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about cars and wants to begin a career in the motor trade while gaining a recognised qualification., - Genuine interest in automotive engineering
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Basic understanding of hand tools
- Good practical and hands-on skills
- Interest to develop within the business following qualification completion
- Basic understanding of vehicle components, GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above preferred)
