Introduction
A Motor Mechanic Apprentice (Level 3) services and repairs light vehicles and works either in dealerships or independent garages. Work ranges from replacing simple parts to solving complex faults. Holder of a Level 2 qualification with 6 months+ garage experience, can have the opportunity to earn a salary and gain a level 3 qualification.

HiQ Tyres & Autocare Southall is an experienced Tyre and Autocare businesses in the local area of Southall, West London. Situated in Southall but close to North Hyde, Hanwell, Hayes Town and Heston. We specialise in the supply and fitting of all leading tyre brands such as Goodyear, Michelin, Pirelli, Continental, Bridgestone and Cooper whilst offering a range of car services, including: MOT Class 4, MOT Class 7, Interim Service, Full Service, Major Service, Wheel Alignment, Exhausts, Batteries, Brakes, Clutches, Diagnostics, Air Con Regas and much more. We also offer customers the option to pay for their car repairs interest free over four months. In Southall we also offer a collection and delivery service.
What You'll Do
- Inspect and service vehicles
- Maintain a healthy and safe workshop
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs
- Provide customer service
Training Outcome
Following the completion of your Advanced Apprenticeship (12 months), there are then a number of opportunities for progression within the Motor Industry, including (but not limited to): MOT Tester, EV, Hybrid or Senior Technician or Workshop Manager.
