Full Job Description

We are seeking a Mobile Supervisor East to ensure the safe, compliant and competent delivery of Soft Facility Services as part of the Government Property Agency (GPA) WSTP Soft Services contract. The role is accountable to the Key Account Manager (KAM) and is responsible for supervising and line managing cleaning and facility staff (Placemakers) across a defined geographic region., We are seeking a proactive and organised individual who will work closely with Placemaker teams to deliver an excellent workplace experience for customers while maintaining compliance, service quality, operational performance and commercial responsibility across all assigned sites.,
- Support the contract management team in the delivery and ongoing development of service solution systems, identifying opportunities for service improvement.
- Maintain a healthy, safe and secure working environment and ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation.
- Roster cleaning and facility Placemakers to ensure contractual staffing requirements are met, including cover for sickness and planned absences.
- Ensure audits, COSHH documentation, Health & Safety records, SOPs and other operational documents are completed, maintained and reviewed as required.
- Recruit, train and develop frontline Placemakers to support effective service delivery.
- Manage customer queries and complaints in line with the customer complaints procedure.
- Monitor expenditure, agency labour usage, materials and consumables to ensure effective cost control and commercial performance.
- Supervise, manage and develop staff, ensuring compliance with company policies, performance reviews, absence management, disciplinary procedures and succession planning.
Experience in a supervisory role within a facilities or cleaning services environment. - Proven supervisory and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently while following guidance from line management.
- Understanding of how service outcomes contribute to successful contract delivery.
- Experience of managing business performance to achieve successful outcomes.
- Ability to identify service improvement opportunities and maintain customer service standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve operational challenges effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams.
- Experience monitoring and reviewing individual and team performance against agreed objectives and targets.
