Summary
Equans is looking for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join our team working across the Midlands on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle and benefits package. The role is working on our Midlands Mobile contract. The majority of the work will be based in the West Midlands covering Birmingham and Stoke-on-Trent but it will also cover other parts of the Midlands.
What will you deliver?
- Carry out Electrical works in a commercial setting, including general plumbing, boilers, heating systems, domestic hot and cold-water systems etc.
- Cover numerous sites that fall within the contract such as Stoke Schools and Guide Dogs
- Ensure all PPM is carried out in accordance with the maintenance specification and documented in real time using the PDA to log start/wait/stop completion and travel times with appropriate comments to evidence completion of work
- Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator
- Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices at all times
- Take part in the on call rota

Who are you?
A recognised industry qualification will be required, and previous experience is essential. Appropriate Plumbing Qualifications essential. Gas Safe Qualifications desirable. C&G Level 3 Plumbing. Must have a full drivers' licence. This role includes a DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists check therefore ability to pass is essential.
