Mobile Kitchen Assistant

Please note - this role is to provide absence cover at different schools in the NLC area. You will need a full and valid driving licence and the use of a car. Mileage will be paid at the standard NLC rate. What You'll Be Doing:

• Helping prepare and serve nutritious school meals
• Setting up and clearing the dining area
• Washing up and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy
• Supporting the cook with food prep and cooking
• Following hygiene and safety procedures
• Completing kitchen paperwork (e.g. cleaning schedules, temperature logs), This is a physically active role in a busy school kitchen, so you'll need to be comfortable with standing, lifting, and working at pace. Flexibility is appreciated, especially during school events.
