Job Title

Gas Engineer

Purpose of the Job

To complete maintenance and reactive repairs on the gas equipment and associated plant on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Completing statutory inspection of gas appliances on site and associated plant


• Complete reactive repairs on gas appliances on site and associated plant


• Overseeing annual maintenance of Gas Network across the group


• Annual auditing of gas maintenance of all site venues on contract


• Ensure all gas certification is up to date


• Assist on other jobs within skill set around site as needed


• Ensure a professional image of CBRE is presented to clients and visitors, and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all times


• Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and lifelong learning

Skills and Experience

• CCN1, CEN1, COCN1, CCCN1, CIGA1, CDGA, CIGA, COMCAT


• 5-10 years experience in a similar role


• Experience working on large commercial boilers


• Experience working on direct fired AHUs


• Experience with commercial catering gas (a bonus)


• Ability to communicate at all levels


• Organised and disciplined approach to work with careful attention to detail


• Computer literate - Word, Excel

Accountabilities

• Accountable to the Contract Manager


• The post holder does not have any directly reporting staff


• This post carries no direct budgetary responsibility
