Full Job Description

We are looking for an individual who can manage both proactive and reactive maintenance activities, respond to callouts, and represent the company to a high standard at client sites.

This role also requires undertaking Authorised Person duties, contractor control, and ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver electrical bias fault finding, repairs, maintenance and installation works across client sites.

Complete electrical PPM, proactive and reactive tasks issued through the helpdesk within agreed timeframes.

Carry out wider building services maintenance, including fabric, HVAC and mechanical-related tasks.

Provide callout response in line with the client callout rota requirements.

Undertake contractor control duties, including monitoring workmanship and issuing Permits to Work.

Ensure all electrical equipment operates to specified performance criteria.

Ensure equipment and surrounding areas conform to agreed company standards.

Represent the company professionally to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer & Authorised Person to provide electrical and building services engineering maintenance across a variety of client properties within a designated region.

The role involves carrying out electrical fault finding, repairs, planned maintenance and installation works, with a strong focus on delivering a reliable, professional service., Significant previous experience delivering reactive and PPM building services maintenance.

Experience working within facilities management or building services in commercial properties.

One of the following electrical qualifications:

NVQ 2356 / 2357 and NVQ 2356 AM2, or
City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation with AM1 and AM2, or
City & Guilds 236/2360 Electrical Installations Part 1 & 2.

18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.

Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable:

Recognised electrical apprenticeship.

City & Guilds 2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing).

JIB accreditation.

IPAF and/or PASMA certification., Disability Confident
