Mobile Electrical Engineer

We're looking for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our team supporting the MET Police estate across South London. In this role, you'll deliver planned and reactive maintenance, inspections, and fault finding across a portfolio of police stations, ensuring systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational., At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're looking for a Mobile Electrical Engineer who can provide high-quality electrical maintenance and build strong relationships with our client on site.

Role Responsibilities:

-Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, inspections, and fault finding

-Complete electrical installations, upgrades, and minor works in line with safety standards

-Maintain accurate compliance documentation and service records

-Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and resolving queries

-Participate in a 1 in 6, 24/7 on-call rota

Level 2 & 3 City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation

-17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

-Willingness and ability to obtain MET Police CTC Clearance (can take up to 7-10 months)

-Previous experience working within a regional on-call rota

-Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

-Good communication and a proactive, client-focused approach

-Ability to work independently across multiple sites
