Mobile Catering Assistant

Mobile Catering Assistant, you won't be based at just one school. Instead, you'll travel to support different school catering teams across Stourbridge, Halesowen, Worcester, and Solihull. You could be supporting a site for a single day, a week, or even a month, depending on business needs. This variety makes the role ideal for someone adaptable, proactive, and keen to broaden their experience across multiple sites. Even better, you'll enjoy a fantastic work-life balance with no evening work, weekends off, public holidays off, and school holidays included.What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting school kitchens across multiple locations as required.
• Preparing nutritious and delicious meals for pupils and staff.
• Assisting with food preparation, service, and presentation.
• Keeping kitchen and serving areas clean, safe, and fully stocked.
• Supporting the loading and unloading of deliveries.
• Following food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety procedures.
• Operating kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
• Representing Sodexo professionally at every site you support.
• Working collaboratively with different teams and quickly adapting to new environments., ALL TRAVEL EXPENSES ARE REIMBURSED Retention BONUS for all attached mobile roles - £200 on successful completion of 12 week probation, further £300 after 52 weeks complete employment in role.

• Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and supporting others.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to adapt quickly to different schools and kitchen teams.
• Strong time management and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Previous catering, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential, as travel between sites will be required.

• 20 hours per week
• Working pattern: Monday - Friday (10am - 2pm, must be flexible)
• Term Time only (39 week Working Contract paid over 52 weeks)
• This position requires and Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
• Mileage expenses: first 10.000 miles per miles 0.45pence miles, after it will be 0.25 pence per mile)
