Full Job Description

We're looking for a Mobile Caretaker who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements Contract: Permanent Type: Full Time Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday- 6.30AM to 3PM/ 2PM to 10.30PM- and some weekend cover may also be needed) Pay: £13.31 per hour Location: Cantell School, 73 Violet Road, Southampton, Hampshire, England, SO16 3GJ Note: The shifts are subject to change the shifts could be the following, so we would need someone is flexible to cover when needed. The Role comes with an Electric Van and mobile phone. Role Responsibilities:
- Undertake all required training and follow Mitie's Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies.
- The Role will be covering Site teams members when on leave etc and helping teams when needed
- Maintain equipment in clean, safe working order and understand all cleaning materials and chemicals used.
- Ensure proper maintenance, cleaning, security, and safety of school premises and grounds.
- Respond to helpdesk jobs, unlock/lock buildings, and carry out porterage and room setups.
- Perform PPM tasks including fire alarm tests, emergency light checks, and support out-of-hours building use. What we're looking for:
- Previous caretaking experience (preferred but not essential).
- Reliable, hardworking, and professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Open, honest, self-driven, and determined.
- Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality, with willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check. What we offer you:
