Mobile Air Conditioning Eningeer

The A/C Maintenance Engineer at Mitie is responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, and inspections of air conditioning systems across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with F-gas regulations and all relevant standards. Role Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, and inspections of air conditioning systems across multiple sites
• Ensure compliance with F-gas regulations and all relevant standards
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults
• Perform refrigerant leak testing and recovery
• Complete all required documentation related to maintenance and compliance
• Work in line with health and safety procedures
• Liaise effectively with clients, customers, and contractors
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support the wider team as needed
  
  Strong technical background including a Level 3 Diploma and relevant NVQ certifications in refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump systems
• F-gas Category 1 certification
• Minimum of five years' post-qualification experience
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel between sites
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities
• Clear communication skills
• Ability to assess and report on equipment condition
• Proactive approach to both independent and team-based work
