MLS Lawyer

Overview Property MLS Lawyer (0-3 PQE, English law) with a strong foundation in asset management to join our growing Property Managed Legal Services (MLS) team. You'll work on high-quality, portfolio-focused matters and help deliver a responsive, efficient service that supports clients' operational and strategic objectives. Location options: Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds. What You'll Do

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of asset management documents, including leases, licences, variations, surrenders, extensions, consents and related agreements
• Take ownership of asset management transactions such as grants of lease, renewals, assignments and terminations, delivering a responsive, high-quality service aligned to client expectations
• Support the effective management of client portfolios by ensuring compliance with the legal, regulatory and operational requirements of a managed legal service
• Work closely with clients' in-house legal, estates and operational teams to deliver a seamless, trusted and proactive service
• Manage matters efficiently with clients and internal colleagues, providing clear, practical legal advice aligned to commercial objectives and portfolio strategy
About You
• A qualified lawyer (0-3 years' PQE) with a genuine interest in asset management and developing your expertise within a specialist Managed Legal Services environment
• Confident handling core asset management matters, ideally with experience supporting large-scale and/or high-volume property portfolios
• Curious and commercially minded, with the ability to understand client priorities and tailor legal advice accordingly
• Interested in legal technology and smarter ways of delivering legal services (including process improvement and efficiency)
• Motivated to contribute to continuous improvement, efficiency and high-quality client outcomes as part of a collaborative team
