Havering Council are looking for a MIS Support Officer to work in the LMIS traded services team, with a strong customer service focus to deliver support to schools with its use of MIS systems.
You're not just supporting systems - you're supporting outcomes for children. Working with a highly credible, supportive and fast-paced team of MIS support officers you'll combine customer service, data accuracy, problem-solving and technical curiosity to help schools operate efficiently and confidently. Every day brings variety: resolving MIS and finance queries, providing training, building effective relationships with school staff and creating guidance documentation all while developing your skills and career.

You will have previous customer service experience, have supported a range MIS systems, provided training and statutory guidance, have an expert level of working with Excel whilst being able to maintain a high level of data proficiency and integrity.
You're organised, customer-focused, confident with data and eager to learn. You enjoy helping people, solving problems and improving processes. You communicate clearly, work well in a team and take pride in accuracy and professionalism as well being able to proactively react to changing priorities.
You will have experience of working with school-based MIS and finance systems, data visualisation tools and cloud-based platforms typically used in education and a teaching environment.
Your excellent communication, data analysis skills and 'can do' approach will be essential to your success in your ability to work as part of the high demanding team and develop effective working relationships.
