Guidant Global is partnering with Airbus to recruit an experienced Minor Works Project Manager to support the delivery of a varied portfolio of construction, facilities, and infrastructure projects across the Filton and Newport sites. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of multiple projects simultaneously, delivering improvements across office, industrial and highly secure operational environments. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards while working alongside a diverse range of stakeholders across the business. About the Role As a Minor Works Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from initial concept through to completion. Working closely with internal customers, contractors and specialist suppliers, you will oversee every stage of the project lifecycle, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and in compliance with all relevant regulations and safety requirements. This role offers excellent variety, with responsibility for multiple concurrent projects valued up to 100,000 across operational facilities and business-critical environments. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a portfolio of minor works and facilities projects from feasibility through to commissioning.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across Filton and Newport sites.
  • Develop project scopes, specifications, budgets and delivery plans.
  • Lead contractor tendering, procurement and commercial management activities.
  • Monitor project costs, variations and final account settlements.
  • Coordinate contractors, consultants and specialist subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with operational teams and internal stakeholders to minimise disruption during works.
  • Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 regulations, building control requirements and internal governance standards.
  • Oversee health and safety documentation, including RAMS, permits to work and site induction processes.
  • Drive consistent project management standards across multiple sites and facilities., Opportunity to work on impactful projects within one of the world's leading aerospace organisations.

    We're keen to hear from project professionals who have experience delivering construction, building services, facilities or refurbishment projects within live operational environments.
  • Essential Experience
  • Proven experience managing multiple construction, facilities or building services projects concurrently.
  • Strong project management and construction delivery expertise.
  • Sound understanding of health and safety legislation and project compliance requirements.
  • SMSTS, SSSTS or equivalent construction health and safety qualification.
  • Experience working with contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Ability to manage budgets, schedules and stakeholder expectations effectively.
  • UK nationality and ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC).
  • Desirable Experience
  • Experience within aerospace, defence, manufacturing or other highly regulated sectors.
  • APM, PMI or PRINCE2 qualifications.
  • NEBOSH, IOSH Managing Safely or CDM-related training.
  • Active UK Security Clearance., Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational and planning abilities.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a high-volume project portfolio.
  • Commercial awareness and budget management expertise.
  • Knowledge of building services, facilities maintenance and refurbishment projects.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
