Pupil Transport Minibus Driver Part-Time | Term-Time Only 18.5 hours per week | 34 weeks per year Worth School is looking for 3 Pupil Transport Minibus Drivers for various routes, to help provide a safe, welcoming and dependable transport service for our pupils. This rewarding role plays an important part in the school day, ensuring that students arrive safely and comfortably at their destination. Working under the guidance of the Transport Manager, you'll be responsible for driving designated routes while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism and customer care. What You'll Be Doing As a Pupil Transport Minibus Driver, you will:

  • Safely transport pupils to and from school and other approved locations.
  • Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and weekly under-bonnet inspections to ensure your vehicle remains roadworthy and compliant.
  • Keep accurate records of journey mileage and pupil attendance.
  • Complete routine vehicle administration and maintenance checks.
  • Report any vehicle defects, damage or concerns promptly to the Transport Manager.
  • Help keep our minibuses clean, presentable and ready for use.
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive environment for pupils during their journey.

  • D1 driving licence.
  • Confident and competent driving skills.
  • Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.

  • Current First Aid qualification.
  • Previous professional driving experience.
  • Experience working in a school or educational setting.
