Full Job Description

  • Supervise pupils during lunch, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and positive behaviour at all times
  • Promote a calm, inclusive environment that encourages respectful play and social interaction
  • Support the setup and clearing of dining and outdoor areas
  • Manage behaviour in line with school policies, addressing issues promptly and fairly
  • Assist with minor first aid and report any incidents or concerns to relevant staff .

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with pupils and staff
  • Ability and experience of managing behaviour positively and consistently in line with school policies
  • A caring, proactive approach to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing with up to date training
  • Teamwork skills with the confidence to work independently when required
  • Basic first aid awareness (or willingness to train), good organisation, and a general education (e.g. GCSEs or equivalent), with prior school-based experience desirable.
