Full Job Description

As a Midday Assistant at Queen Katharine Academy, you'll play a vital part in supporting students during their lunch break, whether in the lunch hall or outdoor spaces. You'll help maintain a calm and positive atmosphere, encourage respectful behaviour, and ensure students feel safe and supported. You'll be a visible role model, helping students make the most of their time at school and contributing to their wellbeing and personal growth.

We're looking for someone who communicates clearly, works well in a team, and brings empathy and initiative to the role. Experience working with young people is essential, and you'll need to be confident in following safeguarding procedures and promoting a culture of kindness and fairness.

This is more than just a lunchtime role, it's a chance to be part of a team that lives out the QKA Way, where every interaction reflects our core values of Ambition, Responsibility and Respect. You'll be joining a school that is part of the Thomas Deacon Education Trust, offering access to professional development, a strong support network, and a culture that celebrates diversity and inclusion. Whether you're starting your journey in education or bringing valuable experience, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a difference every day.
