Department Executive: Communications DirectorReports to: TBCWorks closely with Individual Giving Team, Strategic Partnerships Team,Broadcasting Teams and other teams within the wider organisation.Role SummaryThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, havingmeaningful conversations and taking a genuine interest in people's stories andmotivations. No previous fundraising experience is required. Full training, supportand coaching will be provided.You will be working within a managed programme, fully supported by a dedicatedCoach, and will participate in a structured coaching and development frameworkdesigned to help you grow confidence, skills and effectiveness in supporterengagement.As the Mid-Level Engagement Officer, you will help deepen the connectionbetween UCB and supporters who give at a mid-level. Your focus will be onexcellent stewardship, warm engagement and ensuring supporters feel valued,informed and connected to UCB's wider ministry.You will champion a relational approach, helping supporters understand theimpact of their giving and encouraging ongoing partnership with UCB's mission.Key Responsibilities:Supporter Relationship Management
- Build and nurture relationships with mid-level supporters through phone calls, email, letters and occasional in-person meetings.
- Provide thoughtful and timely stewardship so supporters feel valued and appreciated.
- Manage a structured portfolio of mid-level supporters using an agreed contact plan.
- Use existing UCB content to create tailored touchpoints based on supporter interests.
- Personally thank supporters following key gifts.
- Identify supporters who may benefit from deeper engagement. Operational and Administrative Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date supporter information is recorded in UCB's CRM.
- Maintain clear records of conversations, preferences and agreed actions.
- Work collaboratively across departments.
- Support stewardship process improvements.

- To develop ways of introducing UCBs story in a manner that is relevant and engaging
- To gather testimonies from UCB's readers, listeners and viewers, reporting on the positive impact and public benefit the Charity provides and forwarding them onto the appropriate testimony champions
- To support all of UCBs fundraising activities and events; whether in prayer and/or directly in participation, ensuring sufficient resources are available in order to maximise success
- Such other duties that are within the scope of your skills and capabilities that may be reasonably required
- Warm, approachable manner and excellent listening skills.
- Confidence in building a rapport with a wide range of people.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Well organised and reliable with strong administrative skills.
