Full Job Description
Midday Supervisor required to start September 26 to join our friendly hard working and dedicated team. We are seeking to appoint a mid-day supervisor to join the team at this very popular school. The role would involve supervision of meals, promoting good eating habits and caring for children's physical safety and welfare, under the direction of the Senior Midday Supervisor. The successful applicant will be able to encourage good quality play and behaviour. The role is temporary initially for one year with a view to becoming permanent at the end of the year. We are looking for someone who:
- Is personable, friendly, approachable with a can-do attitude
- Strives to be the best they can be with a desire to get the best out of everyone, Supervise children in the dining area
- Promote an orderly and pleasant mealtime for the children
- Assist with the clearing of the dining area
- Participate in playing games and positively manage behaviour in the playground
- During wet weather supervise indoor play in classrooms
- Follow all safeguarding procedures
Hours of work - 11.45 to 1.15 pm, 7.50 hours per week, term time only. Hourly rate of pay - £12.85 per hour Further details - - The job is temporary subject to a satisfactory completed probationary period of 12 months. - Single Status Grade - GLPC-B SCP 3 £12.85 per hour.
