Experteer Overview In this Metrologist role, you will ensure accurate measurement, traceability, and compliance across manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams. You will develop and validate CMM programmes, apply GD&T to drawings, and drive metrology process improvements in a demanding aerospace environment. You'll work with cross-functional teams to meet engineering, customer, and Parker quality requirements, shaping reliable, high-precision products. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to impact quality, efficiency, and measurement capability within a Fortune 250 company. Pay / Benefits

  • Ensure accuracy, traceability, and integrity of inspection results and measurement records Interpret and apply GD&T, drawings, and measurement standards Create, validate, and maintain CMM programmes aligned with product requirements Ensure inspection methods are fit for purpose and meet standards and customer expectations Identify and escalate measurement concerns, non-conformances, risks, and quality issues Maintain calibration, care, and verification of measurement equipment, gauges, and fixtures Ensure compliance with Parker procedures, quality requirements, safety standards, and controls Support continuous metrology improvement in processes, inspection efficiency, and quality performance Maintain high standards of housekeeping, data discipline, and professional conduct Tasks Degree Qualified Experience in aerospace and/or engineering environments Competence in CMM programming, programme validation, dimensional inspection, and measurement control Ability to interpret and apply GD&T, drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements Skilled in manual and automated metrology equipment including CMMs, gauges, micrometers, verniers, height gauges, and inspection fixtures Understanding of aerospace quality and manufacturing standards (AS13100, AS9100, customer-specific requirements, FAIR/AS9102, PPAP/APQP/AS9145 where applicable) Calibration, traceability, non-conformance, and CAPA knowledge Key requirements Be part of a Fortune 250 company Career growth and opportunities: we hire from within Collaborative and empowered work environment Company values: trust, respect, collaboration and professional growth Attractive compensation packages
