Thisis a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pridein providing excellent service and wants to be part of a supportive team.You'll play an important role in keeping the mess running smoothly and ensuringour customers receive a welcoming and professional experience. Ifyou're reliable, friendly and enjoy a varied role where every day bringssomething different, we'd love to hear from you. What you'll do:
- Keep the dining room, associated areas and delivery vehicles clean, tidy and welcoming by completing all scheduled cleaning tasks.
- Support refreshment services, functions and function preparation across other areas when required.
- Use and store cleaning equipment, machinery, materials and chemicals safely, following all relevant procedures and safe systems of work.
- Maintain excellent standards of service and communication, building positive relationships with colleagues, customers and clients.
- Report any accidents, near misses, faulty equipment or delivery issues promptly to your Line Manager, while helping to monitor stock and supplies to ensure they are replenished when needed.
Previous experience working in a catering, hospitality or mess environment is preferred. - Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and work well with customers and colleagues.
- Able to work independently, use your own initiative and contribute positively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to following procedures and maintaining high standards.
- Full clean driving licence required. Experience in a military environment, leadership skills, Health & Safety or Food Safety knowledge and MS Office experience would be an advantage.
