Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Merchandise Planner to join our team for a 12-month fixed-term contract.
As a Merchandiser, you will drive trading, planning, and stock management activities to drive sales, profit and availability across specific Games Workshop products. You'll achieve this through accurate forecasting, stock allocation, and optimising availability, whilst ensuring adherence to the product delivery critical path.
Working as part of our wider Buying & Merchandising department and alongside other key business teams, you'll use your commercial insight and forward-planning skills to build profitable ranges and identify opportunities. You'll also drive trading and forecasting activities, ensuring accurate reporting, effective inventory management and the delivery of key business KPIs. Working in a defined product area and being a supportive member of the team, you'll generate and maintain sales forecasts, stock allocations, and demonstrate excellent control of inventory costs.
Demonstrating sound decision-making, you'll balance objectivity with gut feel and intuition while working across a range of areas and maintaining strong working relationships with colleagues across the globe.
You'll need to be committed to accuracy and be resilient in the face of changes. In return, we offer a great team environment, hybrid working, and a chance to be part of our fantastic business.
Working at Games Workshop

At Games Workshop we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work. Because of this we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave is even more important than your skills and experience.

The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.
In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets) and option to join our Share Save scheme. Oh and let's not forget, a staff discount of between 25% and 50% on our products!
