We're looking for an MEP Operations Manager to join our Mechanical & Electrical business. This role will be a Regional position overseeing MEP operations in the Northern Home Counties and East of England., Location: Cambridge or Witham (Essex). Role will cover the Northern Home Counties and East of England.Hours: Full-time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

As an Operations Manager, you'll play a vital role in delivering projects that make a real difference to local communities. You'll be managing operational resources, overseeing multiple projects during preconstruction and construction phases, and ensuring everything runs safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. The role will sit within our Mechanical & Electrical division who work closely with our Construction colleagues to deliver full turnkey building services across a range of sectors.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Operations Manager, you'll be working within the local business unit team, supporting them in delivering projects that positively impact communities. Your day to day will include:

-Leading safety, health, and environmental culture across all projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and Kier's standards

-Managing MEP project delivery from award through to practical completion, maintaining quality and progress throughout

-Overseeing project finances, revenue, costs, and cashflow, taking proactive action to maximise profitability

-Leading and developing your teams, providing clear accountability, support, and opportunities for growth

-Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners to ensure successful project outcomes

You hold a degree or HND in Construction and are professionally qualified or working towards membership of a professional body

-You have your CSCS card and SMSTS certification

-You possess excellent management and communication skills with the ability to lead production teams across multiple live sites

-You have sound commercial awareness and a strong commitment to health, safety, and risk management

-You're able to manage and prioritise a demanding workload whilst maintaining high standards

-You have extensive experience in the Building Services industry gained in an MEP Contracting or Tier 1 Contractor environment., Disability Confident
