Full Job Description
Do you believe in people's strengths, even when they can't see them themselves? Are you someone who builds trust, brings calm, and helps others move forward? If so, this could be the perfect role for you. At Live Well Leeds, we're a partnership working together to help people stay well, build resilience and live the lives they choose. We're looking for someone proactive and grounded to join our team - someone who can connect with people, recognise their potential and support them to achieve their goals. This is a varied and meaningful role where no two days are the same. You'll work across communities in Leeds, supporting people one-to-one and in groups, building confidence and helping them access the right support at the right time. If you bring empathy, organisation and a genuine commitment to co-production, we'd love to hear from you. As part of this role, you will work every other Saturday as standard. The usual working hours are 10:30am to 2:30pm, although some flexibility around working patterns may be required to accommodate operational needs. What you'll be getting stuck into You'll support people to maintain and improve their mental health by recognising their strengths and what matters most to them. Managing a caseload, you'll provide one-to-one support, co-produce goal-focused plans and review progress regularly. You'll also deliver group sessions, help people connect with community support, and work alongside partners to provide a joined-up, person-centred service. Alongside this, you'll assess needs and risk, respond to safeguarding concerns and keep accurate records to ensure safe, high-quality support. What Makes You Our Kind of Person: You don't need to tick every box - we'll support your learning - but you'll thrive in this role if you:
- Build trusting, professional relationships and communicate with empathy and clarity
- Take a person-centred, strengths-based approach to supporting mental health
