Mental Health social work is about relationship-based working and as a social workerthere is real job satisfaction in seeing someone's strengths develop through personcentred assessment and planning. We strive to effect positive change in strength-basedpractice, working to a trauma informed approach.We are a very supportive team, with regular supervision, peer reflective sessions,working alongside colleagues.You will have a team base to work from alongside the option of home working . You will have excellent knowledge around the legal frameworks with which we work andif not already with AMHP status a desire to develop to become an Approved MentalHealth Practitioner., You will have significant knowledge of functional mental health difficulties and anunderstanding of neurodiversity and how individuals are impacted.You will be an enthusiastic team player ready to join the Mental Health Social WorkTeam in the People Directorate. You will be passionate about challenging socialinjustice and upholding the rights of those impacted by their mental health. You will beskilled in inter agency working and developing positive relationships with all.
