Full Job Description

You will work within the CAMHS ADHD team as part of a multidisciplinary team which includes nurses, a psychiatrist, NMPs, Assistant Psychologist and admin colleagues. The role will involve the following:

  • Specialist ADHD assessments using evidence-based tools and person centred formulation
  • Contributing to MDT diagnostic decisions
  • Providing psychoeducation and care planning to young people, families and partner agencies
  • Liaising with families, schools, and partner agencies
  • Supporting medication monitoring (if within scope)
  • Working within a neurodevelopmental pathway
  • Working within a multidisciplinary team
  • Leading or contributing to ADHD diagnostic pathways
  • Multiagency collaboration
  • Providing clinical interventions for neurodevelopmental needs
  • Maintain high-quality clinical documentation

    We are expanding our service and are seeking an experienced, skilled and motived B6 mental health practitioner to join our ADHD pathway. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about neurodevelopmental work and keen to further develop their clinical skills within a supportive and experienced team. The successful applicant will play a key role in delivering highquality ADHD assessments, formulation and intervention for children and young people, contributing to MDT discussions, and supporting young people and families through psychoeducation and care planning. We have a strong multi-disciplinary culture in the team, you will hold experience working in CAMHS services and have a sound understanding of mental health challenges facing children and young people. This role is well suited to someone who is enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to improving outcomes for individuals with ADHD, including those with co-occurring mental health, learning or sensory needs.
