We are recruiting a Mental Health Nurse to join the Mental Health Hub and to be part of a developing Primary Care Mental Health hub to support GP practices with Mental Health assessment and support for patients in their communities., We hope that the advert has given you a clear understanding of the skills we are seeking and the opportunity at hand. We are looking for motivated qualified nurses who are looking to work in a great team alongside nurses, occupational therapists and social workers, all of whom are dedicated to improving services for adults. You may be a band 5 ready for the next step in their career, or an experienced band 6 nurse who wants to gain exposure in a new area. Either way, we have a career path ready for you., + Experience in Mental Health Assessments: Clinicians should have experience in completing mental health assessments and delivering evidence-based interventions in community settings.
+ Passion for Partnership Approaches: Candidates should be passionate about partnership approaches to care for adults living with serious mental illness.
+ Motivated for Training: Individuals should be motivated to engage in training to deliver evidence-based interventions across various therapy modalities, signposting, and psychoeducation.
+ Innovative Mindset: The roles require innovative individuals who can help achieve the vision for cross-sector integrated pathways.
+ Improving Access to Mental Health Support: Clinicians should aim to remove existing barriers to deliver better access to dedicated mental health support in local, non-stigmatised community settings.
The ability to travel independently between sites within the Trust is essential for this role.
